ParticipantHi! I am new to the plugin bbPress. I have a site where I use xtreeme plus. I installed and activated the plugin there but I can’t see any traces of it in the Panel?
Should I put it on another domain? But to install it as a plugin I guess I have to install WP?
Doing so there will always be a default theme, right? So why doesn´t work with the Weaver theme?Guidelines anyone?

KeymasterYou have to set bbPress up to display by adding menu items linked to bbPress pages / forums, etc. For example, THIS very page shows on the home page by creating a static Home page like this:
Welcome to the Weaver Support Forum. This forum provides support for Weaver’s WordPress themes and plugins. This includes Weaver Xtreme Theme, Weaver Xtreme Plus Plugin, Weaver Xtreme Theme Support Plugin, Weaver for bbPress, Weaver Show Posts, and Weaver Show Sliders. You must register and login to participate in this forum. Most Recent Posts

The last short code displays the actual list of most recent topics.
Now if you want to have a very nice looking bbPress site layout with minimal amount of effort, I would really recommend our plugin, Weaver for bbPress.
It has a bunch of features that make it really easy to administrate your bbPress site, including options that will let it blend with almost any theme. bbPress does not have much in the way of easily administrating your site on a daily basis, but Weaver for bbPress includes most of them, plus recommendations for a few other bbPress plugins. Most of the sidebar intems on this page are either widgets from bbPress, or from Weave for bbPress (like the login/register widget).

KeymasterNote – the main native bbPress interaface is on the Dashboard under Forums near the top to set up forums and categories, and again under Settings : Forum for some of the basic forum admin settings. Weaver for bbPress settings are under the Appearance menu item

ParticipantSorry. I can’t find the word “Forums” anywhere on the Dashboard. I tried to reinstall the plugin, but no change there.
Can I give you my Login so that you can have a look?

KeymasterWeaver for bbPress is a support add-on plugin for bbPress. You also have to install the main bbPress plugin. Have a look now.
There should be tutorials available for setting up different forums (like this site with multiple forums – Weaver Xtreme, Showcase, etc.) and the proper shortcodes to display them.
Then use Weaver for bbPress to set up the easy admin options and pick a “theme” to match your main site’s theme.
