In Categories, Featured Image is Too Large (and fuzzy)

When looking at my posts in “Categories,” the images are too large and fuzzy.

Here is an example:

Is there a way to set these images smaller without changing the way the featured image shows on posts?

Have you tried setting the featured image size to Thumbnail in the Theme”Post Specifics” > Featured Image settings?

They were and are all set to thumbnail.

Your square images on that page are displaying as 127.5 x 127.5.

However the original image is 150×150, so it should be better than it is.

It looks like while you have set the featured image to the thumbnail, the page is calling for the full size image, based upon the poor quality of the displayed image.

Can you change your  Theme ”Post Specifics” > Featured Image settings to Medium or Large or Full and see if that improvers — or at least changes — things?
