iFrames not working when updated to Weaver II Pro

I just upgraded to From Weaver II to Weaver II Pro and added all of the necessary plugins, but now my iframe links are all broken. 

I have a number of Amazon widgets that are written into my blog in between the [iframe]xxx[/iframe] tags, but now, every single post with an Amazon link now just shows the following:

No src address provided to [weaver_iframe].

Here’s an example page- you can see this code at the bottom, where an Amazon product widget should appear.

What did I miss? What do I need to do to fix this? Note: I’ve downloaded Weaver XTreme, but haven’t had the time to upgrade to that theme yet, since it has a long list of instructions. In the meantime, how do I fix this problem?

I am not quite following.

If you inserted iframes using the weaver iframe shortcode in your content, have you checked your content, and do the shortcode contain the proper information?

@scrambler Over the years, I added those links with the proper WordPress tags, like this:

[iframe]insert iframe code here…[/iframe] It’s always worked, even after upgrading a different WP theme to Weaver, but since I upgraded to Weaver Pro II yesterday, all those links are broken.

It looks like your [iframe] shortcode are being confused with weaver_iframe shorctodes.

Did you by any chance installed the weaver Theme Shortcode compatibility plugin? This could be your problem. If so try deactivating that for now

Deactivating the Compatibility Plugin seems to have worked. Thank you.

The compatibility plugin is meant to be used with Xtreme.

By default Xtreme is not using any prefix for its own shortcodes, so [iframe] would be interpreted as a weaver shortcode. But there is an option in Xtreme to add the prefix back in order to avoid this king of problem

Hi, you answered this for me last time, but I just upgraded to Weaver Xtreme. How would I get the traditional [iframes] to work with the new upgrade. Where do I find that option in the Xtreme admin panel?

The option to add or not the wvrx prefix to Xtreme shortcode is in the Shortcode page, which is Appearance > Add-Ons.

By default, Xtreme shortcode do not use the prefix. You only need to add the prefix if that causes some interference with shortcode from other plugins that may use the same name.
