How to style a horisontal line?

At the bottom of this page: http://www.nordoy.net/nabolaget/ I have inserted a horizontal line. Is there a way to change color, thickness, or even add some shadow to this line?

I intend to insert such a line on all pages, so maybe there is some “global” settings I could use?

Main Options > Content Area > List <hr> Tables > Color and Color CSS+ box for additional css rules

I have changed the color of the line to light grey, but it doesn’t seem to work http://www.nordoy.net/nabolaget/ It’s still the same dark color.

It is working, but there is a zero size setup and a border (which is what you see)

Add a border none and a height

{background-color:#F2F2F2; height:10px;border:none;}
