My website name is changehypnosis.in. I want to move the website from it’s current theme to full width theme. How can I make a smooth transition?
If you Mean you just want to make the whole site as it is now full browser width, just put a very large value like 10000 in Main options > Wrapping Areas > Wrapper Area > Theme width box
if you want to do different full width on various section, you can do two things:
- Read the current tutorial which explains the various type of full width designs below

Here’s an active site that is using the current Alpha release of Weaver Xtreme 3.0 that demos a bunch of the full width and new header area options: http://tworiversuu.org.
New features include:
- parallax scroll over the header image
- header image as BG image to cover entire header area
- logo as a replacement for the site title
- logo on the menu bar
- drop down menu pin to the top on scroll
- extended bg widths on the header elements
- expand to full width on the footer area
All of these are simple checkbox options, and there is plenty of different ways to get the full width on various components.
Also, this 3.0 will add using the Featured Image as a BG images for content and posts, including parallax.
The current Alpha working version is stable enough to use on a live site, so looking at release in maybe two or three weeks.
The first Beta of Weaver Xtreme 3.0 will be released very soon, maybe even later today. Watch for announcement on the forum and main weavertheme.com site.
This is about the “Main Menu.” At present I can scroll the whole website up and down and the whole website scrolls. I want the menu to freeze as it reaches the top of the browser as I scrolls the website down. Then when one scrolls up the header re-appears along with the menu just the way it is now. How can I freeze the menu as it touches the top of the browser as I scroll down and header goes up?
if you have installed the beta v3, select Main options > Menus > primary Menu > Fixed top Menu > Fix to top on scroll

If you want a bigger image, use a bigger image.
If not what you meant, provide a link to your site and be more specific so we better understand what you mean
Firstly thank you for instant & prompt replies. Right now I am experimenting Beta V3 on a temporary website before doing the changes on my main website. I had to add the image in WP header image because I had difficult adding the same thru Weaver Xtreme >Main option>wrapping area>background image link. Secondly, what should be the px of a header image? Currently I used 1350 * 400 and it partly got cropped.
I have done some more changes and I seem to be having an issue with Header setting. website:http://hypnotherapymumbai.com/wp/. Part of the images get cut. I am using Meteor slider plugin
A header image should always be added via the WP header image.
Xtreme background images is a different thing all together.
When you add a Header image with WordPress, you can skip the cropping to keep the image whatever size you want.
How big it should be depends on the design of your site.
If the site is set for a Maximum width in The Site width option, and if the Header or header image is not expanded to the full width of the browser, you only need an image as wide as the Site width you have set.
If you are using a Full width design where the header image will always expand to the edges of the browser, then you want an image big enough to cover the distance. and HD screen is 1920 x 1080, so a width of 1900 pixel would be a good start.
I have done changes to my website http://www.changehypnosis.in to a full width. And I m having some issues.
I have added Meteor plugin in the Site Wide Top widget Area. All the images are 849X566 but the images gets cropped on both left and right side. What changes needs to be done? When I did a trial on other website it was working perfectly.
Secondly, I have TICKED the following in the Main option>Header>Fixed Top Header area. I notice that the header remains FIXED as I scroll down then if I scroll up “part of the top content including images” does not scroll up. Only when I click HOME button then the full top page can be seen. What needs to be changed or corrected?
Thirdly there are small video that loop on sub menu Services>beliefs. This videos are taking the full width of the page. i want the content to appear by its side. How can I do that.
