How to make widget background continue to bottom of page

The background only goes as far as the widget content.  I couldn’t find an area to place a background in the sidebar (as opposed to the widgets).

To automatically extend the background of the sidebar to match the content, you need to have the “Plus” Plugin, and use the “flow color to the bottom” option at the bottom of Main Options > Sidebar & Layout > Sidebar Layout.

Then you put your background on the Sidebar widget Area that you use (primary or secondary)

Thanks I will upgrade…will I need to adjust settings I’ve been using up to now?

You will have to check the Flow color to bottom option – that is all. You might end up adjusting the bg color of the sidebars to set an optimal color for the flow.

Ok  I upgraded and the color flows to the bottom…almost.  Can you suggest how to make it flow to the absolute bottom?

We need a link to your page to be sure of what padding / margin is at play.

I suspect padding/margin at the top of the footer.
