ParticipantI am trying to input my amazon affiliates store on my web page, but the stupid auto-correct keeps adding <p></p> to the code causing the store not to display at all.

ParticipantI moved your post from the “Showcase” category to the “Weaver Xtreme” category, on the assumption that is the theme you are using.
When you are editing the page, scroll down to the “Weaver Xtreme Options For this Page” section then, under “Per Page Visual Editor Options”, tick the option “Allow Raw HTML and scripts. Disables auto paragraph, texturize, and other processing.”

ParticipantOh, thank you so much! I’ll let you know if I am blind and can’t find it 🙂

ParticipantThis makes me angry, because after customizing a very complicated (but nice) theme, I discovered it would not display the store properly, it cut it off after the heading, like the page, just ended there. After trying to fix it I finally changed themes to the Weaver theme, and guess what? It displayed great on the other themes that I didn’t like nearly so well. So now what? It doesn’t even show the title. Yet another theme change? I am getting nothing done on my sites because all I am doing is learning how to get around yet another theme. I am getting very discouraged and am close to just throwing in the towel, because what is the point of being an affiliate if I can showcase their products?

ParticipantDon’t get discouraged and don’t waste time theme “shopping” – this is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater 🙂
To get further help (which I promise will come), you first need to give a link to your site – specifically, to a page exhibiting the problem. Also, post the script you are using.

ModeratorLike Gillian said.
Don’t worry, just give us the link to page explaining exactly what is wrong and / or how you want to change it 🙂January 11, 2017 at 22:47 UTC - Views: 2 #32243Kissmet
ParticipantMy web page is https://beesbestbabybooks.com/store
The code I am using is: <iframe src=”http://astore.amazon.com/200a32-20″ width=”90%” height=”4000″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no”></iframe>I have been using this same code (well one designed for my different websites) for 2 months with no issues.January 11, 2017 at 23:40 UTC - Views: 17 #32244scrambler
ModeratorSomething very strange is going on.
First if I copy paste the iframe code on my Xtreme test site in a page content, it displays fine, so the theme is not the issue.
On your page, the HTML for the iframe code is present, but it is empty (actual content of the iframe is missing)…
A couple of things to try.
- Create a New page called test
- Select the option “Allow Raw HTML and Script” in the Xtreme option for this page section.
- Then with the editor in TEXT mode (NOT Visual), paste the iframe code from your post above.
- Publish the page, and see if the store content shows up on that test page.
- If it does not, give us a link to that test page.
If it still does not show up in the test page, Try deactivating ALL non weaver plugins, and see if that fixes it.
If it does reactivate one by one testing in between.Make sure you Clear and deactivate any cache you may be using (plugin or service)

KeymasterI would change the height in the iframe to something a bit shorter than 4000 – more like 600 or 800.
The iframe code works just fine on my vanilla test site.

ParticipantI changed the height to 1000 but it still does not work. I don’t remember but I think Amazon explained why they had set it to 4000, but I am very possibly wrong.

ParticipantI installed a plug-in to clear my cache when I update or publish a page. I ran it, my cache is cleared (I also did this again to my browser), but it still does not work.

ModeratorCould you try to follow ALL the steps I gave you and report back?

ParticipantNo, it did not work even after I changed the height to ‘600’. So I just created a custom link in my navigation to direct it to my Amazon store. And it WORKS. Thank you for all of your help! There for a while, it wasn’t updating the menu, like I had deleted the ‘test’ page and deleted the ‘store’ page, but when I saved and refreshed, went to my site they were still there. I don’t remember what I did when it finally updated the menu. All I care about is that now it works–thank you for taking the time to look. You can see the new and improved (still have to work on changing the ‘featured book’ to say the name of the book), but I will get there. https://beesbestbabybooks.com I had even tried the store on the one website I have that I haven’t migrated over to this one, and I tried it on firefox, all were a no go, until I did the redirect for the store.

ParticipantNow for AdSense (just right now got approved) I need to upload a code to right below the ‘head’, that would be pretty much on any page–right? Because it is not IN the head, which I don’t have access to.

ModeratorIf the code is needed for all pages, insert it in Advanced Options > Head Section > Head section box it should be fine
