How do I remove search from pages (except blog page)

Hi,

I have removed search from the header but haven’t found a way to remove search from the content area.  This is probably easy but I haven’t found it yet.

By the way, I love Weaver Xtreme!  It has so much versatility and so many things that make it easier to build a site.  I plan on sending a little through PayPal as a thank you when I can afford it.

There is normally no search in content unless you put it there, so we need a link to your site to understand what you mean.

This is the Info bar area, so Main options > Menus > Info Bar > Show Search box 

If you are not using the info also hide the whole thing using the Hide Area option in that section

Thank you.  I just didn’t know where to look.  I didn’t realize that was the info bar area as I have never used an info bar.

The info bar has been a bit of a ‘problem” for a long time. I think many people like it, and so we’ve always made it enabled by default. But then many people don’t understand where it’s info is coming from.

If turned off by default, then I suspect most people would never find it, and likely miss a very nice feature.

It really has been about a 50/50 deal, and we’ve opted for the on by default.
