    I love that weaver Xtreme generates this boxes, when you make a blogquote:

    http://hochsensibelsein.de/hat-die-migraeneforschung-das-hochsensibilitaetsgen-gefunden/

    How can I style that box? I’d like to have rounded borders, no border on the left, another background color and a shadow around it. Would that be possible?

    Kind regards,
    Anne-Barbara

    If you inspect the page with your browser developer tools, you will see the following styling rule for the blockquotes

    blockquote{
    background:rgba(128, 128, 128, 0.1);
    border-width:0;
    border-left:4px solid rgba(128, 128, 128, 0.4);
    margin:1.5em;
    overflow:auto;
    padding:0.8em 1.5em 0 1.2em;
    }

    blockquote cite{
    font-style:normal;
    font-weight:bold;
    }

    blockquote p{
    font-style:italic;
    font-size:1em;
    }

    If you want to change anything, use the selector with the css propery you want to override or add styling, like

    blockquote{
    background:blue;
    border-left:none;
    box-shadow:0px 1px 3px #bbbbbb;
    }

    Thank you very much, it even works if I paste this in the custom css-field:

    blockquote{
    background:blue;
    border-left:none;
    box-shadow:0px 1px 3px #bbbbbb;
    }

     That’s fine, because I don’t need a child theme.

    All Custom CSS Goes in the Theme Global CSS Rule Box, or eventually in any option CSS+ box for CSS that apply to that element.

    You never have to create a Child theme for CSS in weaver themes 🙂
