How can I show the date, but hide the author?

Hello,
I am using “show posts” for a text-widget which works quite fine. But I only can choose to show all metas (author+date) and not date only. Is there any suggestion to realize that?

If you are using the Weaver Xtreme Theme, Meta info lines can be customized globally in Main options > Post Specifics > Post Meta Info Areas options section.

If you also have the Xtreme “Plus” Plugin, you can actually create your own with any format you like using “Custom Post Info lines” at the bottom of the Posts Specifics option page

Oh thank you, but it seems like to work for the post page only. I need it for an excerpt in the text-widget (sidebar).

Assuming you are using Weaver Xtreme theme, It should work with all.

Please provide a link to your site, and make sure you did not disable theme integration in the show post option page
