    I’d like to host the used Google fonts local, accordingly to EU DSGVO.

    1. Where can I find information which fonts are used?
    2. Where do I have to store the fonts?
    3. How can I include it to my website?

    Thank you for any help! Susanne

    @weaver would have to comment

    There is a nice plugin that handles font-self-hosting automatically called OMGF.

    Install it, open its settings page. Just use the default options. Tell it to scan for fonts, then save options.

    It generates a local copy of all the Google fonts used by Weaver Xtreme. It then replaces Weaver’s call to load Google fonts from google with a reference to a style file it generates that loads the local copies. Really very easy.

    You don’t have to change any Weaver options you’ve used for setting fonts. The plugin even handles any Google fonts you’ve defined with Weaver Xtreme Plus.

    In fact, I plan to immediately (well, in the next day or two) all the Weaver sites to use this plugin since we sell to the EU and need to comply. I had thought about adding this directly to Weaver Xtreme, but now I say why bother? This plugin does it all easily and efficiently. (Although not quite as efficiently as loading directly from Google servers, but it is at most a millisecond or three.)

    OMGF | GDPR Compliant, Faster Google Fonts. Easy.
