ParticipantI don’t know if this is a WordPress issue or a theme issue so I’m posting this to both forums in hope that someone might be able to help me.
I have a rather frustrating issue. Neither my home page nor post page seem to be updating. I noticed this after I edited a text widget.
When I click on the home page (while still logged in), the admin bar disappears and the text widget hasn’t updated.
When I click on the post page, the text widget has updated but the admin bar has disappeared. If I create a new post, the latest post doesn’t show in the feed.
HOWEVER, if I preview each page, the changes appear but not when I update them to go live. I’ve tried emptying my cache but with no success.
Here’s the website I’m having the issue with: http://classictales.craftylion.com
Any help would be greatly appreciated as both my home and post pages are updated regularly.

ModeratorFirst make sure everything is updated to its latest (WordPress, Theme, plugins)
Next, are you using a cache plugin or a cache service (like Cloudflare). If so, the first thing to try is to clear all caches before trying to view the live site.
Next try to deactivate ALL non weaver plugins, and see if the issue goes away. (if it does reactivate one by one)

KeymasterBut there is very little likelihood that the theme is involved with this.

ParticipantThanks. Everything I’m using is of the latest version. I don’t use any cache plugins and deactivating outside plugins makes no difference.
I thought it may have been a WordPress issue (or even an installation issue) but I just wanted to be sure. 🙂

ModeratorNext you could redo the last WordPress Update from Dashboard > Update, in case something went wrong with the install.
You could also save your weaver settings and download a copy in the save restore page, then switch to a different theme to see if that makes a difference.
