Hide Primary Widget Area

I set the “<small>Primary Widget Area: Hide area on different display devices</small>” to “Hide: phones + tablets.”  Yet, this area still appears on mobile devices.

Also, did you clear all the caches, before trying to view the changes?

If I shrink the browser size until the menu turns to the mobile hamburger menu, then the primary widget area does disappear.

What device are you having a problem with (tablet, phone, Ios, Android….), and does the device display the full menu, or the mobile hamburger menu.

Mobile is defined by the screen resolution. So on certain device  size / resolution, it is possible, the full menu is displayed, indicating it is not considered a mobile device.

I am on my phone now and the hamburger menu shows in brown woth a white space below.

Screen resolution is 2412×1080.

@user, do you see the primary widget area which is the one starting with the calendar.

On mobile I do see a green widget area with public library, library hours … but this is the Blog Bottom widget area, not the primary one

Under “older posts” the widget area starts with “West Hurley Public Library” and not the Calendar.

No Calendar is displayed.

Yes, this is the Blog Bottom Widget Area, may be the source of confusion
