    Is there a way to add a Featured Image to a page, but not have it display on the page?

    What’s happening is the wrong picture from the home page is showing up when I share the website URL. I read that I can add a FI and have that display, but I don’t actually want it displayed on the website. I just want it displayed when sharing links.

    The only time I actually use FI is when I am adding an excerpt on a post to display somewhere. I set this up to Hide on Blog View through Post Specifics > Featured Image – Posts. But I don’t see any hide options under Content Areas > FI.

    Never mind, I scrolled down and saw I could hide it.

    Under Content > FI > and select Hide Featured Image on Pages.
