i would like to add 2 or 3 social buttons to the right of the primary menu bar. i am using weaver extreme (not pro version). i had this done in weaver ii pro, but can’t seem to find that option now. please, i have no idea of any sort of coding. i can insert a shortcode, but where would i get the short for the social buttons and where exactly woul di have to insert the shortcode? sorry for stupid questions, i am not a professional webdesigner! please simple answers!
The Social icon shortcode is part of the Xtreme “Plus” plugin option, as is the Add HTML to right and left of the menu bar to add them on the menu barWithout Plus, you need to compose your social icons yourself with html (they are just links with and icon). To place them on the menu bar, we would need to see a link to your site to see what workaround could be used.One of them would be to use the WordPress Custom menu for your menu, then add a link menu item with # in the Link URL box, and add the HTML of the social Icon in the menu label box.But the easiest solution is to get “plus” to get the advanced features like you did by getting Weaver II ProRemember, unlike weaver II and weaver II pro that were two separate theme, Xtreme is the base theme, and “Plus” is just a plugin you add to it.
yes, i am aware of that. i have purchased the extreme plus plugin and have converted the site. but there is still a steep learning curve, slowing getting there. thanks for your help!
