The problem is resolved. I don’t know why as the only new thing I did was update – for the 10th time.

I thought the problem was resolved but it reappeared. I did not do anything extraordinary – updated for the umphteenth time and it vanished. Then back again. So – I set my page News to be the blog for the website. On the edit the News page, I got this warning. I tried to follow the directions but I don’t see what choices I have other than what I’ve done.

WARNING! You have the Dashboard:Settings:Reading Posts page: option set to this page. You may intend to do this, but note this means that only this page’s Title will be used on the default WordPress blog page, and any content you may have entered above is not used. If you want this page to serve as your blog page, and enable Weaver Xtreme Per Page options, including the option of using the Page with Posts page template, then the Settings:Reading:Posts page selection must be set to the — Select — default value.

You have to do what is says.

In the dashboard > Settings > Reading, your home page must be set to a static page, AND most importantly, NOTHING must be selected in the Post page drop down list (showing -Select-)

Thank you. I somehow managed to be blind to the select option.
