I really am not technically insightful. I set up my site a while back and worked through learning then. I have been focusing on other stuff and am now getting back. My site is http://donkeyeeaw.org. I have loaded an image for the header. It is visible on the “header” page. But an error message is on the home page. what have I done wrong. Nancy

    Two things.

First,, you have not selected a header image, you have selected a WordPress site logo, and used that as a replacement for the site title.

If this is what you wanted, the problem is that the URL of the image selected is invalid (see link below)

If you actually wanted a header image, select one in Appearance > Header, and make sure you have not selected to hide the featured image in Customize > Visibility > Header area

I am totally confused. Under “Header Image” is “Current Header” which shows the image. “Hide image” is not selected. It also shows that this was “published.”

OMG! What has happened to everything? I can easily update my other site. http://embracecivility.org.

I changed Themes to see if this would fix things.

I get to a page on my other site and it gives me the ability to type and use bullets and change from paragraph to header. None of that is now immediately available on this site. But then I clicked on something and this came up.

I don’t know what you are saying, but the siteĀ  http://donkeyeeaw.org still shows what I explained earlier.

If this is not what you see, then you may have a cache problem. Make sure to clear all your caches and eventually deactivate any cache plugin you may be using
