Header image won’t display after chaning primary domain

Hello, Yesterday, I changed over the primary domain from http://www.nhtraininginsittute.com (where the new word press site using weaver extreme) was set up. The new primary domain is http://www.nhadaca.org. Everything went fine during the change over Except the header image is still calling for nhtraininginstitute.com/uploads/2015/05/Headerblue.jpg (or something to that effect). I have done all search and replaces. I’ve gone into Appearance/ Header  and added a new image because I re uploaded the same image. I saved and published 11 different times, each time uploading a new image hoping it would “take.” Nothing. Even though the preview  mode is displaying the header, the save and publish doesn’t seem to want to work. Then…I did a header widget with my own coding, even added a “subscribe to our email” widget to see if my coding was the problem in the widget. Even the subscribe to our email option isn’t displaying in the header widget area. Could you please take a look and help me! I’ve been working on this for over 10 hours and am completely baffled. Have you tried uploading the Headerblue.jpg file from your computer to your Media Library, then adding it to the header? 

Change the file name to something like Headerblue2.jpg as it sounds like you may have a few files in your Media Library and you want to add the correct uploaded one to your header.

Yes. I have tried that too. Numerous times. I just tried it again on a different computer.

Can someone tell me if I delete Weaver Extreme Theme and then reinstall it will I have lost anything – or will it all have been stored in the database?

In your Media Library, select the header image, click Edit. In the right hand sidebar is the File URL. It should read something like:  http://www.nhadaca.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Headerblue.jpg  

If not, try adding the above URL (assuming it is in the 2015/05 folder).

HI Maureen, Thanks again. It does read: http://www.nhadaca.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/cropped-Header.jpg That is why this is so darn baffling that weaver is still trying to find http://www.nhtraininginstitute.com/wp-content/uploads – etc…
I think there is a glitch with my weaver extreme theme because when I am in “header” and upload a new image (the same header but a fresh upload), it shows the header in the preview mode  as if it recognizes it then when I hit save and publish, it doesn’t “take.”

Have you tried another non-header file to see if WordPress is behaving properly and saving?

I activated the error messages in my config php and here’s the messages I am getting in my dashboard

Marueen, I just tried another non header image, like you suggested, and it is not behaving properly. Not saving.
And now I am not able to  upload files anymore. But that’s a secondary issue.

 Not being able to upload files many be a hosting/memory issue.

Let’s see if Weaver or Scrambler can shed a little light on this.

@weaver would be the better source here, but it does sound like a WordPress issue and not a theme issue, so wordpress.org may be a better place  🙂

Scrambler, what would I try to search for?

The upload issue just arose within the past hour. its minor in comparison to my header not showing right now.

Also, now my Events Made Easy Plug in is not sending confirmation emails to registrants.

Other than these issues the change over went smoothly. I’m thinking of uninstalling weaver extreme and reinstalling it.
I may try to remove plug ins individually first though.

All the settings are saved in the database, and will not disappear. It should not lose any styling or other info if you delete and reinatall.

Yes, I would do the usual:

First I would reinstall the latest WordPress update in Dashboard > Updaye.

If it does not fix the issue, deactivate ALL non weaver Plugins and see if that fixes it.

if not, then You should go to the save / restore page, Click Save To save a copy of your settings in the database, and click Download ALL settings below to keep a local copy.

Then I would switch to another theme like 2013

Delete ALL weaver Theme and plugins

Reinstall the latest version of Weave II pro from scratch, as well as the Weaver II Theme extra plugin. All your settings should automatically be back as they are saved in the database

OK. I will try this in the morning. In the meanwhile I’ve been checking the functions.php to make sure there is no space above or below, and other solutions suggested on wordpress forum, inevitibly I think it would be best if I started fresh with a reinstalled theme. Will let you know in the AM Eastern TIme. Thank you!

One other comment, you mentioned reinstall the latest version of Weaver II Pro and Weaver II Theme Extra Plug in. I’ve not yet installed those. Do you think their absence could be the problem?
