Header Image BG

Hi..
I have a header image that I’d like to make the bg transparent. Tried uploading it from my computer but the bg turns white. The reason I want just the text and state outline to show is that I already have a header bg image that I like and the wording will work, I just don’t need the white to show up… if this makes sense?

I just uploaded the latest WP and Weaver versions and tried to search for an answer prior to my posting.

You saved the image as a Jpeg (.jpg) format which does not supports transparency.

After you remove the background in your image editor, you need to save as a  .png format so it keeps the transparency, and upload that version in WP to use.
