Google structured data tool

Hi!

I use last wordpress and weaver xtreme. I used google search console and I recieved errors such

    Error: Missing required field “entry-title”.
    Error: Missing required field “updated”.
    Error: Missing required hCard “author”.

Should I ignore them or I have to do something.

Those fields are supported by Weaver Xtreme, and it should generate those fields in all the proper locations.

Unless you’ve created some custom HTML in you content, it is the job of the theme OR a plugin to generate the correct HTML to make the Google Tool happy.

Now, it IS possible that we missed generating the correct HTML tags for every single instance. Or it could be a plugin.

There is probably nothing you can do. A link to the site generating those errors could help us determine if we missed those tags in some cases. And a better explanation of what you mean by “Google Search Console” would help us, too – hard to know exactly what tool you might be using.

I think that the tool can only be used on you own sites, so I can’t really see what is going on.

I looked as some of my own sites, and I get those messages for some pages, but it seems to be old content, or content with formatting added to the page/post content.

I mostly think it is not a lot to worry about.
