Hi,
Am loving working with the new Weaver Xtreme, but have found some of the differences between it and Weaver II challenging to figure out, so am asking you for help.  I am sure you’ll have an elegant solution, which I would likely be able to see on my own with a little more experience.

I did look in the forums for an answer, and found discussions on a similar thread, but the answers were confusing, especially when several different options were presented.  And sometimes, there wasn’t enough detail provided for me to actually understand what you were talking about.  So, I’m hoping by posting a specific question, you can point me to the best solution for this particular issue.  But I’ll apologize in advance if you’ve already answered this elsewhere.

The black bit with the words is currently set as the header image.  The image below that, with the optin, is part of the content for the home page itself.  What the client would like to do is have that image, with the optin (which is created via a plugin), appear on all of the pages of the site EXCEPT those where we hide all but the top menu.  What’s the best way to accomplish that?

Also, when we placed that image (the one with the woman) as the header image, it remained crisp on all devices.  But as a background image, this isn’t always the case.  Ideally, we’d like that crispness back.  (Honestly, I’m not sure what makes it different and can’t even see it myself, but it is an issue with the client… thought it worth mentioning so you can include that in your filtering of the available solutions.)

1- To have your image on all pages except a select few, do two things:

     a- Insert that content in Advanced Options > HTML Insertion > Post header code box.

     b- In order to hide that content on a few pages, put the content inside a hide_if shortcode with the list of pages to exclude. Read The Add-Ons page for the exact syntax of the hide_if shortcode. It will look something like.

[hide_if post_id=xx, yy, zz]  your content [/hide_if]

with xx, yy, zz being the list of page IDs to exclude

2- You image is blurry, because it is being stretched above its native (vertical) resolution. Make it bigger 🙂

That’s great Scrambler, that worked.  Hardest part was getting the hide if shortcode correct.
