    front page (menu colors)  https://freegames.news/

    i remember changing the link color a while ago in my weaver admin, but i’ll be damn if i can find it again to change from blue links and black text to match front page menu at top.

    Can you be more specific, because the menu at the bottom of the first page link are the same color as the menu at the top of the page in the second link.

    So please explain exactly what links are the wrong color

    If you are speaking of the color of the two vertical bars between the menu items.

    On the first link at the bottom, they inherit the default body text color which is black.

    If you want them to the white like in the top of page menu, you will need to add a Custom CSS rule to the area.

    The area being in Advanced options > HTML Insertion areas > Post Footer Area > BG CSS+ box, add the rule

    {color:white;}

    Either I am not seeing what you are seeing (in which case you may have a cache issue), or I am not following.

    In the page from your first link,

    OpenTTD – FreeGames.News

    I do not see any blue link.

    Please be specific about what text & where

    I do not see that on Edge Chrome and Firefox, for me the colors are the same as the top menu.

    So you must have a cache issue. Clear all your caches locally (browser, phone …), test on a different computer / browser, and if you are using a cache plugin or service (like CLoudflare), clear that too

    @mrsraywp

    FYI, I get the same as you on Firefox. Dark blue.  Kinda unreadable after a page visit…

    OK, I know what is going on, it is the “visited” style that is blue. Once you have clicked on it it becomes blue.

    Will check it out

    So you can change the visited color to the same color as the original one in the Post footer area by adding the rule to the previous one in the area BG CSS+ box

    change

    {color:white;}

    to

    {color:white;} a:visited {color:#BABABA;}

    The CSS rule making the link blue after being visited is not a custom CSS added by you, it is the default theme rule.

    I also checked All you CSS+ custom CSS (they are all grouped in a labeled section of the CSS file) and none include link rules.

    So whatever you remember doing is not at play here, just the default theme rule 🙂

    This reply has been accepted as the best answer.

    You can set the hover color to red for all links using the link Hover color box theme Options found in the Wrapper area options.

    Or you can add it to the rule you already have in the post footer BG CSS+ box to only do that for that area

    {color:white;} a:visited {color:#BABABA;} a:hover {color:red;}
