    Hi,

    On a website I have the menu fixed to top, I’m wondering if there’s a way so that on some pages it’s not fixed please?

    Just checking before I hide the menu on a page and make a fake one in a builder.

    Thank you!

    Yes you can do that with Custom CSS.

    the guide article below provide the principle CSS under the section “Unfixing on mobile”

    https://guide.weavertheme.com/menus-alternate-transition-for-fixed-on-scroll-menus/

    Just replace the class .is-phone in the given rules by the page id class. It will look something like below with xxx being the page ID#

    .page-id-xxx .wvrx-fixedtop, .page-id-xxx .wvrx-fixonscroll {
    z-index:998;
    position:relative !important;
    top:auto !important;
    }
    body.page-id-xxx {margin-top:0px !important}

    If it does not work, leave the CSS in place in the theme Global Custom CSS Rule box and post back with a link to the page

    That’s great thank you Scramble!

    It’s just a small niggle but it leaves a white gap at the top, I can probably get away with that but if you want to look I’ll leave a link in next post.

    There are some weird CSS interaction with site origin.

    Changing the CSS to the one below seem to fix the space and vertical centering

    .page-id-1724 .wvrx-menu-container.wvrx-fixedtop {
    z-index:998;
    position:relative !important;
    top:35px !important;
    }

    .page-id-1724 #inject_fixedtop.wvrx-fixedtop{
    z-index:998;
    position:absolute !important;
    top:auto !important;
    }

    body.page-id-1724 {margin-top:0px !important}

    I still need to figure out why the text looks different as it appears to have the same properties

    Brilliant thank you, Scrambler!

    I can get away with the text changing so don’t worry about that, with the white line gone it doesn’t look broken now 🙂
