    This is a follow up to the thread – http://forum-archive.weavertheme.com/discussion/12299/header-menu-bar-positioning-fixed-browser-top

    I changed the theme width from 960 to 1100 and would like to the header area to be fixed and also the full length of the browser. In mobile, fixed header is not going to happen.
    Currently am using a header image that is 520 px wide. I can make this to be any size, including 1100.
    When I tried to make these changes by using wvrx-fullwidth in the header, I got strange results since the header is not set to show up on desktop and I am using the fixed option with columns under Advanced > Fixed Browser Top:
    <div><div class=”content-2-col”><a href=”http://demo.littledropup.com/&#8221; title=”Home Page”>[header_image]</a></div><div class=”content-2-col”>[extra_menu menu_name='topmenu' menu_style='secondary' menu_type='standard']</div></div>

    I also cannot figure out why the menu items are not aligning flush right.

    Nevermind… got it.

    I want the header to span the width of the browser on desktop.

    If I try the overlay method, it doesn’t work using the current fixed header rules.

    Overlay method uses header @1600 px in CSS: #header-image {background:url(http://demo.littledropup.com/wp-content/uploads/IMC-Header-1600-D7DAD5.jpg) center;overflow:hidden !important;} & header image @1100px.

    Fixed Header Rules:
    <div>
    <div class=”content-2-col”>Header image</div>
    <div class=”content-2-col”>Extra menu shortcode</div>
    </div>

    Main Options > Header is not visible on desktop

    If you want the content of the header to be full browser width, the only two solutions I see are
    1- Make the whole site very large, then limit the width of the content area with the max width and align option.
    2- Recreate the header inside the pre wrapper HTML insertion area using Html for the image and an extra menu shortcode, then we can fix it with custom CSS
