ParticipantHi I’m trying to upload Weaver Xtreme Plus Version 3 to website with new host. Have followed directions and got as far as entering activation key but I keep getting “Failure to activate: Your license key has reached its activation limit.” message.
Back to the purchase page – expiration date April 2017 but I renewed it anyway and I’m still getting “Failure to activate: Your license key has reached its activation limit.”

ParticipantMmm … so what I’ve done is renewed the license key which is for one site only. And what I’m trying to do is upload the Weaver Extreme Plus into a new sub domain. For instance: original site http://www.mysite.com and subdomain http://www.book.mysite.com. Does that equal 2 sites? Clueless on this stuff.

ModeratorAs explained on the plus site home page
All licenses active for 18 Months – Discounted Renewal.
You can activate Weaver Xtreme Plus on as many different sites as are included in your purchase. Each domain or sub-domain requires a separate activation.February 22, 2017 at 19:14 UTC - Views: 6 #37714Weaver
KeymasterThis is not uncommon policy – one unique URL per license activation. I know that the JetPack premium license works the same way.

ParticipantThank you. So in regards to: If I have Live and Testing servers, do I need to activate my license on both sites?
No, you should only activate your license on your Live site. You may still install your extension on your Test server and use it without an active license.I have a sub domain ie testing.mywebsite.com which I use to muck about before trying anything on my main site. Do I need to buy a separate license for that also? And what is a Test server?

KeymasterOur licensing policy is to allow as many installs on test sites as needed.
The main difference is that you won’t get automatic updates without the license, but can do manual updates by downloading the plugin file from your account page on https://shop.weavertheme.com.
