    I haven’t been able to figure out how to get rid of the edit option which shows up on the bottom right of each page.

    We don’t want anyone to have this capability.

    How do I remove it?

    This only appears when you are logged in the admin side of wordpress. Outside users do not see this.

    Just log off the admin and refresh your site, and you will see that the edit is gone
