disable adsense on sitemap page

Hi,

I inserted an adsense ad in a simple text widget and put it in the primary sidebar but it appears on the sitemap page as well (probably on all other pages like About, Contact, etc., too…)

So… how do I disable it on those pages? Is this something specific to Weaver theme, or should I inquire somewhere else?

To customize which widget appears on a specific page sidebar, you have two solutions.

1- The broader one is to use a plugin like Dynamic widgets.

2- For simple cases like just changing the widgets in the sidebar on one page, you could use Weaver Built in “per page extra widget Area” and widget area replacement feature.

You create your per page extra widget area at the bottom of the Main Options > Sidebar & Layout page.

Then in Appearance > Widgets, you put the widgets you want in that newly created area.

Finally in the page that needs to use this widget area, you go to the “Widget Area Replacement” section of the page editing page, and select your widget area as a replacement for the default one.

Hmm… so I guess I’ll use the dynamic widget plugin then, because I want the adsense widget to obviously appear on ALL pages and posts of my site, except for the about, contact us, and sitemap 🙂

Given there is no editing of the sitemap page, yes
