ModeratorFor archives, you need to look for an archive widget on wordpress.org.There are various possible ways to overlay and add on top of the header, we need a link to the site to see which one would be bestAugust 31, 2015 at 12:10 UTC #24064Wasserwerk

ModeratorThe easiest would probably to put it in Main Options > HEader > Site Title Tagline > Header Extra HTML box, and select the option “Move Extra HTML Over Header”The positioning is done from the left (X) and the top (Y), so you should probably add the rule below to Advanced Options > HEadv Section > Custom CSS Rule box, to change the vertical positioning to a fixed bottom value (that would probably be better resposnisvely.#header-extra-html {top:auto;bottom:10px;}For it to work responsively the add will need to scale with the header.Speaking of responsiveness, I hope you realize your site is not at all responsive right now. If you reduce the size of the browser, the design completely falls apart.Starting with the fixed 300px right margin on the wrapper that should really be a percentage, and continuing with the posts that are using a table causing the post content to move out and to the left, as well as your area under the header that does not scale at all..September 2, 2015 at 15:21 UTC - Views: 1 #24066Wasserwerk

Moderator1- For your image to scale when it does not fit in the browser width, you need to make it max-width:100%.<img style=”max-width:100%;” src=…… />2- re “category names”, I dont see these in the page you gave me, and I dont understand your questionSeptember 2, 2015 at 21:03 UTC - Views: 1 #24069Wasserwerk
ParticipantThe category names for example “TOP STORY”, I want to place them where you can see it in the picture.
On the Website they are not visible because I do not know how to put them there.
Thanks for the style-hint, it is working 🙂

ModeratorDont remembre what you are currently using for the top meta info line (custom post info ine or php shortcode), but you can try adding a right floated span in the Top meta info line something like.<span style=”float:right;background-color:blue;border-radius:5px;”><a href=”LinkUrl“>Your Text </a></span>September 6, 2015 at 14:54 UTC #24071Wasserwerk
