Customizer not loading

The customizer was not loading after I upgraded the basic theme. I just added the Weaver Xtreme Plus plugin and its still not loading. It shows that it is loading, but never finishes.  What could be the reason for this and how do I fix it? If nothing else, I need to be able to change the header, and that’s the only place I’ve ever done it from. I’m not a programmer, coder or anything like that so please keep it simple. Thanks…DRC

Settings Won’t Save from Customizer

Once you are sure you have the right amount of memory and config settings, you can also try different browsers. IE and Edge for example are significantly slower at loading the customizer.

You can also try deactivating all non weaver plugins to see if one is causing the system to choke.

In case of emergency, you can turn off the Xtreme Customizer, so it goes back to the default WordPress in Advanced options > Admin options > Disable Weaver Xtreme Customizer.

In that mode you should be able to access WordPress header background… customizer options, and you can still set Xtreme Option in the Legacy Admin interface (Weaver Xtreme Admin > Main Pages) until you figure out the issue

I hope you are using the latest WP 5.1.1. One significant improvement in WP 5.1 is how much faster the Customizer loads. Don’t know about Windows native browsers, but Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are very noticeably faster, and may need less memory.
