Custom CSS not loading when logged out

I’ve been working on an update for a customer with a new design. Everything looked good so far and then suddenly it looks fine when I’m logged in, but when I’m logged out, the custom CSS doesn’t appear to be loading.

I’m not sure if this is due to a recent update with the theme or what. I’m currently on version 6.5.1 of the theme. I had the theme on auto update so I’m not sure when it got upgraded to that version.

WordPress is 6.5. I had updated to 6.6 and rolled it back to see if that caused the problem, but I have the problem with both versions.

Is it possible to grab an earlier version of theme to see if that is the problem?

Where is the custom CSS placed exactly, and can you give us one specific rule that is not working with the corresponding page and what the rule is targeting in the page.

You should also be able to grab an older version on weaver site

Another possibility if you added or edited custom CSS lately is that a syntax error is corrupting the file. Running the whole content of the custom CSS box though an online CSS validation would help detect the issue

The WP plugin: “WP Rollback” will help you roll-back any plugin or the theme easily and instantly.

You can remove or disable the plugin once you resolve the issues you now have.

Similarly, I have found the WP plugin: “Health Check & Troubleshooting” very helpful in such circumstances, as it allows testing of various site themes and plugins without disruption to the live site.

Again, can be deactivated when no longer needed.
