Creating Multiple Pages

I want to be able to divide a long page into several with next and previous buttons. Is there a way to do this in Xtreme? I’ve checked a few plugins but can’t find one at the moment which has been tested on the current version of WP. I tried one which had been updated 3 months ago but it had no effect on the page. Thanks.

First, do not be overly concerned about plugins having  been tested with the current version of WP. This is VERY SELDOM a meaningful piece of information. 99% of plugins and themes will continue to work just fine on newer versions of WP.

Second, you have uncovered a pretty serious bug in Weaver Xtreme! It turns out that Weaver Xtreme is currently NOT supporting the <!–nextpage–> feature for pages – just for posts.

If you don’t know about <!–nextpage–>, if you insert that bit of code, using the TEXT view of a page, it is supposed to split pages and posts at that point, and display a “Pages” link.

I’m not sure how long it will take to post a fixed version for that but, but it may be a couple of weeks. I will send you a working version by private e-mail shortly.

Thank you, glad to be of assistance! I saw that the plugin I tried generated that nextpage code, and as it had no effect I assumed it was an issue with the plugin.
