Comments and “aside”, in footer?

Got out first page comment and noticed the comment section is being (seemingly)  in the footer widget area, #1, though that is not coded in the footer widget area dialog box.

The width control appears to be coming from Weaver on class “aside:nth-of-type …”

I am sorry but I do not understand what you are saying.

In the content area is the post, and below that the comment section

There is an empty left sidebar which occupies 14.25% of the content area width left of the post

The sidebar include the primary widget area and inside some google adds but these do not show up for some reason.

Among other things, they seem to have some fixed width and height which is not responsive and incompatible with the 14.25% width of the sidebar

So you need to clarify what you exactly mean
