Columns with images

Is there a great plug in for this? Or? I recall have trouble with this long ago and I use columns on nearly every page.

Personally, I have not found the need for another plugin to deal with columns, but horses for courses, I guess.  🙂

Before embarking wholesale on multi-column pages, may I humbly suggest you look at your own site’s analytics and see how many readers access your site on small mobile devices, compared to desktops and tablets.

As you know, phones typically squash all your hard work into a single long column, rather the multiple columns of the desktop view.

Perhaps now, the percentage of mobile users is so high, that you ought to be optimizing your site for them, and that appearance, rather than burning the midnight oil on preparing multiple columns which the majority of your readers will never see or appreciate.   Just sayin’……

Thanks for your reply. I have books I’ve written, pages with book or product recommendations for writers and have links for those in columns. I can’t see any other way even though the stack.

As long as the columns are responsive and their number adapts to the width of the display like you have, i think they are fine.

If the list of books was to become very long, you could create a section at the top with Thumbnails of all the books each thumbnail jumping to the corresponding book section in the page, but right now it looks fine.
