Is there a way to clone/copy a show_post filter so I can use most of the settings when I create a new one?

Is there any advantage to creating a show_post filter as opposed to just entering the shortcode using parameters right into the page? Do these filters take up memory or disk usage?

I just realized that the save/restore does not allow one to clone a filter/slider. I added that to my list to do. I haven’t decided how the interface should look on that.

I personally don’t use the shortcode directly any more. There are just too many variants to remember / get correct. And the insert button is just so easy to use. At least for me, it is just easier to use the filters. Each filter requires a setting to be saved in the WP database, but it is really tiny and there would be no measurable affect on anything else.

How would I delete a saved filter?

Open the filter, and click the delete button to the right of the name
