ParticipantOK I think with a little digging around this is fixed.
The licence keys for my 4 sites were not updating so I put the keys in again and it seems to have solved the problem

KeymasterThe error message is most likely coming from a plugin and not the theme.
You used to have a 25 site license, and switch to a 5 site license.
The five site shows your site as activated, so the update should work unless you happen to be using the old activation key.
The old key started with “be3c”. The new one starts with “2”. Be sure you have the correct key activated on your site.
The other alternative would be to manually download the plugin file and manually install in on your site.

ParticipantIts all working again – I repasted the keys into the four sites and left them for 30 mins then they updated correctly.
The line 287 error was a fav plugin I’ve been using for as long as i’ve been using wordpress that no longer was supported but in the last update fell over. RIP the little tool for adding mainly a break where a bullet list ends and the next para begins – [br]
Seems multiple things came to gether ti break my sites with the last wp update
Many thanks for your help as ever

KeymasterAfter years and years of maintaining nearly 100% backward compatibility, WP has finally started to really get rid of some compatibility support. Some of it has to do with jQuery, and more with finally keeping up with the latest versions of PHP. I’ve had to change a few things with the theme, and I believe that Weaver II will no longer work correctly (and there are still some Weaver II users out there). Probably older versions of Weaver Xtreme as well.

In case it’s useful the problematic plugin was “Simple Breaks”
I will miss it. I mainly used it at the end of bullet list to add in a [br] which forced a para space.
The useful little plugin hasn’t been update for quite a while but kept working – it finally failed with the latest update so I’ve now removed it from my 4 weaver sites.

ModeratorWe can probably do what it did with custom CSS. If you give us the link to a page where you need the styling and explain in details, we can give you the rule

ParticipantI’ve cleaned up most of the old code but there is a typical example
All it used to do was put in a force break that WP typically takes one out if you add it in manually – so that the para after a set of bullet points had a space rather than following straight on without a visual break.
Key events this month were:
- Brontë had her final jabs and can now mix with other dogs
- Peter’s Mum & Dad have headed to Barbados to spend Christmas with Susan, George, Gabby and Jaime.
- We’ve been to the Hong Kong Panto so are now on the countdown to Christmas.
- Lottie was invited via West Island School to trial for the u14 Hong Kong hockey squad.
- Roro Stevenson arrived on 19 Dec…

ModeratorI need a link to the page to be sure
If the forum is suppressing your link type it using DOT instead of the real dot
SiteDOTcom
But it sounds like you want a space after the ul tag in which case a rule like below placed in the Theme Global Custom CSS Rule box should do it
ul {margin-bottom:10px;}

ModeratorThat is what I though then, the rule I gave you will add space below the UL, which is where your br was
