ParticipantHello
http://www.judithcraig.co.uk
This site was running perfectly happily on Xtreme.
I uploaded the Plus plugin (have 5 site licence), all appeared well, I then activated the licence, again all appeared well.
I then set about changing colours, backgrounds, borders etc but nothing seems to save.
I even tried hiding Weaver’s acknowledgement in the footer but that doesn’t save either.
The plugin is showing as version 1.1. I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit with Firefox
Deactivating the plugin makes no difference.
I haven’t tried deactivating the licence as I wasn’t sure what that might do!
Not sure if I’ve completely flipped or there’s some sort of bug in the plugin. (All the content is there and the menus work.)
Thanks.May 3, 2015 at 14:42 UTC #21786scrambler
ModeratorIf deactivating makes no difference, then the plugin is probably not the cause.
When you change settings, do they stay set properly in the admin interface but produce no results, or do they disappear from the admin page when you save them.
If they stay but produce no results, you should check ALL your custom CSS (CSS+ box or Custom CSS rule box) for syntax errors that could break the CSS file.
Next, go to advanced Options > Site Options and check Inline CSS. If that fixes the issue, you may have a permission problem in your installation preventing the CSS file from being written

KeymasterSee this FAQ for all of the known reasons for settings to not save:

There are no known exceptions to the reasons listed in the FAQ.

ParticipantHi
When I change the settings the change stays in the box and i press save. All ok. Then I look at site and no change has happened..
When I return to the admin area the settings have reverted to the original default.
When I click on Advanced Options nothing happens

ModeratorIf the admin side reverts to defaults, read the article mentioned by weaver.

ParticipantHave cleared the cache several times.
I can upload images to the media gallery and display them on the site successfully so i guess it’s a contact my host issue.
Sigh

KeymasterI’m guessing either a PHP memory issue, or the not enough $_POST options allowed.
