I’ve found that the breadcrumbs aren’t working properly for my Woocommerce pages.
You can see that on this page the breadcrumbs are displaying correctly (although they’re centred for some reason):
On the following example product the breadcrumb isn’t correct:
Is should say Home > Shop > Category Page > Product
The category pages also have the issue:
Can anyone help please? As it is, it’s really difficult to navigate back to the main shop page when on mobile.

You appear to have used the Align Center on the wrapper, so you may want to undo that unless actually needed.
If you do need it for something else, then you will have to change the Align property of the Info bar (under menu settings) to Align : Left
2- As far as the breadcrumb being display, the theme has nothing to do with it, so you may want too speak with Woocommerce, or use a plugin that gives you more control on the breadcrumb display. If you are using an SEO plugin like Yoast, it may have such featureJuly 13, 2021 at 18:34 UTC - Views: 48 #69147
The theme DOES handle breadcrumbs. I’m not sure Weaver Xtreme’s code knows how to handle Woocommerce “categories” or “tags”.
I don’t see anything wrong with the product breadcrumb:
What were you expecting a single product breadcrumb to look like?
There is an option available: Yoast SEO breadcrumbs. I see you are using Yoast. After looking, I see it is not well documented any more, but Weaver Xtreme has built in support for Yoast Breadcrumbs. Please activate them in Yoast and see if the breadcrumbs handle Woo better. I think it might.
There are instructions on how to activate Yoast breadcrumbs.July 14, 2021 at 10:28 UTC - Views: 43 #69153
Thanks for the replies.
I’ve changed the alignment to ‘none’ and it all looks better now thanks.
I’ve also tried a number of the breadcrumb plugins available but none display the breadcrumbs on my Weaver pages.
@Weaver – the breadcrumb on the the product page should show:
Home > Shop > Category Title > Product Name
Instead it just shows:
Home > Product Name
I found this discussion that implies that some themes don’t include what they could in terms of WooCommerce:
Although in my hierarchy the WooCommerce Shop page is a child of my Home page, it doesn’t appear in the breadcrumb, nor do the category pages that are all children of ‘Shop’.
Hope you can help further,

I will try to look into the Woo link you provided, but I will probably not be able to get to it for a couple of weeks as I will be away from my development environment for the next couple of weeks.July 15, 2021 at 09:20 UTC - Views: 27 #69163
Many thanks Weaver – hope to hear from you again in the near future.

I was just wondering if you’d had a chance to look at the breadcrumbs as above…?

I’m working on it – but just right now. I think I may have a solution – Woocommerce provides its own breadcrumbs function, and I think I can use it at appropriate times instead of the standard Weaver breadcrumbs. Just set up a Woo specific test site with products, categories, etc. to try to test this.August 13, 2021 at 00:18 UTC - Views: 19 #69402
OK – I can add support for Woo breadcrumbs directly, but at this point, I think there is a better solution.
Yoast SEO supports breadcrumbs that also support Woo breadcrumbs for products. I’m having a small problem getting all the styling and full path (e.g., Home > Shop > Accessories > Product Name) to show and format. With some effort, I could do that, but Yoast’s solution already does that quite well.
To use Yoast SEO, simply install Yoast, open the SEO -> Search Appearance -> Breadcrumbs setting screen. There you can customize some details of the breadcrumb path, plus the Taxonomy to show for Products, Product Category, Product Tag, and Shipping Class for products.
Weaver Xtreme will use Yoast’s breadcrumbs automatically if they are enabled instead of its own, so that part is easy.
Since I’m trying to get Weaver Xtreme Version 5 out very soon, I’d rather work on that since the Yoast solution seems to work. If you already have Yoast installed, and the breadcrumbs aren’t showing, then you need to set the Taxonomy and Content type archive settings to the the full breadcrumb path to show for products.August 16, 2021 at 12:43 UTC - Views: 11 #69428
Many thanks Weaver – I’ve followed your instructions within Yoast and now have the breadcrumbs working as I needed them.
Many thanks for your help,
