Did a site for an architect in south London with Weaver Xtreme. Any comments welcome.
Clean and straightforward. Easy to navigate. My only comment: there are a lot of great photos of architectural elements. It would be nice to see them browser wide or large header to add some drama to the site.
Thanks. Yes I wanted to have the headings larger but these architects seem to be an austere lot! I’m also not really a fan of the side vertical navigation as I think it uses too much valuable horizontal space, and prevents full-width elements (although the photos do appear in a lightbox – perhaps that should be made clearer).
I, too, thought the width should be wider for desktops, but liked the vertical menu.
But, I thought the site looks really good on mobile view. Maybe better than the full site, and this seem a bit backwards for this kind of site.
I also think that on a wide display, the gray background ends up dominating, and doesn’t look that great. The Main Options : Wrapping Areas : Full Browser Height option might help the look a bit.
