    You can try adding a height to the rule I gave you

    .fluid-width-video-wrapper {width:50% !important;height:600px;}

    But this may not work. Already the width appears to be non responsive, when I shrink the browser, the content of the widget gets cutoff.

    I believe you need to ask whoever is providing the widget how to use it properly.

    it didn’t work indeed. Also, amazon is providing the widget…

    The hell with this, I think I’ll manually add products to the sidebar 🙁

    Did you try with !important

    .fluid-width-video-wrapper {width:50% !important;height:600px !important;}

    no, but I tried now and it’s worse. I didn’t revert back to normal yet, so you can have a look at it. Just look how ugly it is 🙂

    Could it be that is something wrong with amazon’s coding, or whatever? Will you mind trying the same thing with one of your sites? Like, for example go to your amazon account > widgets > carousel widget > add 10 products (maximum allowed) to your carousel > pick ferris wheel, and 160x600px size > save > get code > insert code into a sidebar widget into one of your sites that’s using the free weaver theme, and see if you replicate this issue? If you can, it’s definitely something wrong with amazon. If you can’t replicate it…. well, I am really clueless about what could be wrong 🙂

    or… if you want I can give you access to my dashboard and check things for yourself. I don’t mind granting you access because there is no sensitive info you will have access to. And you know more than me anyway, I am sure that at any point you can hack into my website if you felt like

    The widget appears to require the container to have a defined size, so do the following

    remove the rule I gave you previously

    Instead add the rule below to make the widget container the proper size

    #text-5 {max-width:160px;height:600px;}

    Note that if you redo the widget, the ID #text-5 may change and the rule may need to be modified

    Another way to do it would be to define a container in the code, by adding a styled div like below

    <div style=”max-width:160px;height:600px;”>
    Code provided by amazon
    </div>

    at long last! Scrambler is here to save the day 🙂

    I used your second option, cause if I know myself – and I do – I will definitely change things around even after the site is “100% ready” and I don’t like to bother you again with minor issues.

    So… thanks for the help, and yay! 🙂

    now the adsense widget started spreading. I don’t understand why this happens. I added the same “div” thingy that I used for the amazon widget but this didn’t solve the problem.

    Actually, this happened AFTER I cleared the cache of the ZEN cache plugin. Before clicking on “clear cache” the ad displayed correctly

    Or, could it be that I created a new ad in my adsense account and made it responsive? Cause it does behave responsive (although it shouldn’t resize itself on my desktop computer. Odd…)

    Could it also have something to do with theme’s width I chose for this site??

    As I said, I don’t know what to think anymore. I just wished I knew why it does this. What is actually causing this…

    Please give us a link to the page with the issue and be specific about where to look and for what

    The adsense ad at the top of the sidebar. It is set as 300×250 but as you can see it stretches down the page. It’s really the same thing that happened to the amazon widget, that we’ve discussed earlier on this post 🙂

    I dont know what you are seeing, but I am seeing a search bar, below that an Add that is set at 600px height, and below that the updates widget.
    Your add has an inline style with height:600px and this is what is shows at. The image in the add is about 520px high, so it only leaves a small gap before the update widget

    so, are you not seeing the amazon widget (below the updates) and then the categories widget (below the amazon widget)??

    Yes I am seeing the amazon and categories below that too.
    I was focusing on your issue which is the top ad widget, and I only see it stretch 600px which is what it size appears to be set at, so nothing wrong on my side.

    yes, OK. Well, like I said, that widget has an adsense code for a 300×250 ad unit, so I have no idea why you’re seeing the 600px height anywhere near that widget.

    I was using as old code (created some 4-5 years ago) for this widget, but then I decided to create another one, specifically for this site, and after I created it, I replaced the old one, and then cleared the cache through the ZEN Cache plugin, and after I did this and refreshed the home page the ad became stretched.

    That’s all the info I can provide you with, that may be relevant. I don’t know what else to say/do…

    I cant troubleshoot whatever service you are using to generate your ads…
    If you selected and ad that was supposed to be 300px high, this is not what you got. The ad you got has a height set at 600px. If this is not what you ask for, you need to take it up with whoever is providing you with the ads.
    But the ad looks good and not stretched, it pretty much fills the sidebar width and its 600px height

    can you please send a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Please
