    This was easily done in Weaver II, as it was just a checkbox. I have researched this forum quite a bit, and I cannot figure out how to do it in Xtreme. Can you point me in a direction? Also, the documentation states that a search icon should appear in the header section, but it doesn’t show at all. The page I’m working with is at afoi-sandbox.it4causeshosting.org

    In legacy admin (Appearance > Weaver Xtreme Admin), the visibility of the search in header is in Main options > Header > Header Area > Hide search on header list

    Adding a search in the menu bar can be done by adding the [search] shortcode to Main Options > Menus > Primary/secondary menu bar > Menu Right HTML box

    [search] shortcode options are found in the Add-Ons page of the legacy Admin

    Yes, I’ve already tried the search shortcode, it just shows the text of the shortcode. I left it that way so you could see it on the site. To verify that I entered the code correctly, I tried the title shortcode, and that worked fine. Also, search does not show as one of the shortcodes. I inferred its use from reading through the forum. As far as search not showing in the header, I do have the search option set to ‘do not hide.’ It doesn’t show, though.

    Sorry, my bad, [search] is a “Plus” Plugin shortcode

    Can I simulate it without buying Plus? I volunteer for a charity and we’re tight on $$.

    Regarding the search on header, it is there, but because you have no header image or site title /tagline, the search icon ends up under the menu bar.

    You have two options:

    1- Move it up a little so it will be right above the menu bar by adding the rule below to Main Options > Fonts & Custom > Custom CSS Rule box

    #header-search .search-form {top:-50px;}

    2- Or just change its overlay z-index with the rule below so it is on top of the menu bar

    #branding {z-index:2010;}

    Yes, I see it now. Thanks again for the help.
