Adding post excerpts from subdomain

[[Deleted User]]

I have a multisite at http://www.ozbizonline.com.au and would like to display 5 excerpts from the blog which is at gsq-blog.ozbizonline.com.au. This is in the space beneath Your profile.  I have tried the Weaver Show Posts widget but I can’t enter the blog address anywhere.  Have I missed something as I’m sure that there is an easy solution but it eludes me at present?
Many thanks.

There is no easy solution for this. Nothing available from the theme or [show_posts]. All of these are designed to work exclusively on a single site.

The only simple solution I can think of is some kind of specialized feed from the subdomain, or linking to a page on that site. But actually displaying content from a different site is not at all easy. There is no difference at all between any old external site, and a sub-site on your multi-site. Different URLs, different site!

OK, thanks for the feedback – will look at other possibilities.
