add the word menu next to the mobile menu burger

Sorry if this is a simple checkbox, but i cant seem to find one, i want to put the word “MENU” next to the mobile menu burger, could anyone assist me?

Ive added that to my custom css, but its not showing up, would it be different as I’m using the extra menu?

Well, the tutorial was done before the Smart menu, and for Smart menu it needs a slightly different CSS.

Modify the rules to

.is-mobile .genericon-menu::after {content:”MENU”;font-size:90%; padding-left:10px;vertical-align:top;}

The second rule is not needed (below)
.is-mobile .menu-toggle-button {width:5em;}

I will update the tutorial.

Also change the :: to :

.is-mobile .genericon-menu:after {content:”MENU”;font-size:90%; padding-left:10px;vertical-align:top;}

I think some browsers don’t understand the ::
