Add Recent Post List

Hello,

I want to add a recent post list from a specific category on a specific page.   How do I go about doing this?  It is critical that I am able to choose which category/categories the recent posts come from that make up the recent post list.  Thank you.

You can use the weaver Show post plugin.

It lets you define filters to select which post to show and how to show them, and you can display the result using a shortcode anywhere you like.

Combined with weaver show slider  companion plugin, you can even display them as a slider.

i have the weaver show post plugin installed.  How do I go about defining the filters with shortcodes?
