Absolute Weaver download/upload problem

I can’t install the Absolute Weaver plugin successfully (today’s date is 6-20-19). Am using the add plugin/choose file/install instructions and get this message:

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: absolute-weaver-0-6.zip
Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin installation failed.

Suggestions? Thank you.

Absolute weaver is a theme 🙂

Yes, I know. I had checked for it in wp themes but it is still not offered there, as I read in the Absolute Weaver blurb from the developer. So the only option I saw was to download the file, which seemed weird for a theme, but I thought maybe I’d learn something new! So…how can one get the theme? Thanks!

Absolute Weaver is in the final release queue at WP.org – maybe a couple of more weeks.

You then Add A New Theme : Upload, and use the .zip file to add the theme.

Now I get it, thank you. I’d never uploaded a theme before so didn’t know you could.
