I have made sure I put it in the text editor, not the visual editor, and checked the raw HTML option. Then I had to add <br><br> after every paragraph to restore the formatting.
I installed the plugin Advanced Custom Fields as recommended by an article I found at GoDaddy. If it says to put code in the header, I haven’t found it. Maybe it’s too advanced for me.
Is there a way to use that script without a plugin? If I need a plugin, do you have a recommendation? I see I have made shortcodes for some Amazon banners, and the widgets where I put them don’t display. That code doesn’t look like script to me. I don’t know if it’s the same issue or a different one. Other Amazon code displays properly.
