I use Online Backup for WordPress – mostly to backup the database. You can backup small sites using its free service, or simply e-mail the backup to any e-mail address. I set up a gmail account for that. If your database gets too big, this can be an issue, but this is a simple and reliable solution suitable for most sites, I suspect.
