Ah, sorry………… Now I get what you are saying – because when I had blog set as “front” page, none of the Weaver theme options worked on that page, so nothing I had set up interfered with “blog top post area” displaying.
Still not sure why the “blog top widget area” won’t display. I just changed the <weaver admin <sidebars/layout < sidebar layout < page to “default” and on the blog page unchecked “hide primary sidebar”. But that didn’t seem to change anything.
The < page attributes < template is set to “page with posts”.
Is it because I am choosing to use 3 columns for post layout?
