Many thanks for your input. Most welcome. It seems that the code I have referred to allows the user to select the javascript which is to be deferred. As the Facebook comments plugin is a main culprit as far as GTmetrix is concerned it would seem sensible to use this code to defer that javascript. Or am I seeing this from a point of view which is not technical enough?
